A foot or hand bath is both relaxing and energizing and helps alleviate rheumatic pains and aches in general. Pressure points on your hands and feet relate to every part of your body including your internal organs. By caring for your hands and feet you are also caring for your entire body.
Simple foot and hand bath recipe
Ingredients:
- 5 drops of your favorite essential oil
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Mix the essential oil with the vinegar. Apple cider vinegar helps to disperse the oil and balance the skin’s pH level. This helps eliminate odor causing bacteria. (Just say no to stinky feet.)
Pour warm water into containers that are large enough for your hands and feet.
Adding a cup of marbles or rounded pebbles to each of the baths creates a massage effect that stimulates nerve endings and is very therapeutic.
Soak for 10 to 15 minutes. Dry thoroughly and massage moisturizer into the skin.
