This conditioner is similar to L’Oreal Excellence Crème Protective Conditioning Treatment. It will leave your hair shiny soft and manageable while nourishing hair and protecting it from the heat of blow dryers and curling irons.
Ingredients:
Step 1:
1 cup Water (FREE)
1 tbls Cetearyl Alcohol 30/70 NF ($.13)
½ + 1/8 tsp Glycerine ($.05)
1 tbls Behentrimonium ($.27)
¼ tsp heaping Guar-Cat ($.07)
Step 2:
¼ tsp heaping DL-Panthenol ($.08)
½ tbls Cyclo-Dimethicone ($.27)
25 drops Peppermint essential oil
25 drops Lavender essential oil
1/8 tsp Citric Acid ($.01<)
Step 1:
Add cetearyl alcohol, glycerine, behentrimonium and GuarCat to 1 cup hot water in microwave safe bowl. Mix with a spoon until blended. If ingredients are not blending well place the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds and mix again. When ingredients are dissolved blend with stick blender until creamy.
Let cool until temperature is below 100 degrees F (Important).
Step 2:
Add Step 2 ingredients one at a time blending between additions. Use citric acid to adjust ph level to 4.5.
Add finished conditioner to lotion bottle.
Conditioner use directions:
Use conditioner liberally. Massage into scalp avoiding eyes. Leave for a minute and rinse.
Final notes:
This conditioner contains no preservatives. Store in refrigerator.
